The Wales Manufacturing Health and Safety Forum

The Forum is a unique partnership between manufacturers in Wales and Wales Health and Safety Executive.  It's aim is to demonstrate best practice in safety management systems and hazard management.  It does so by using this website to manage events and post information. Membership is free and is open to all manufacturers in Wales, their workers or their suppliers of goods and services.  Members benefit from access and support with health and safety management best practice, programmes of training and awareness events, and self audit systems aimed at continuous improvement.

The Forum is self managed by member companies as well as stakeholders such as the Welsh Assembly and TUC Wales.  Founder members include:  Airbus, Robert Bosch, Celsa, Corus, Crown Food Europe, Ifor Williams Trailers, Kellogg, UPM Kymene at Shotton Paper, Solutia, Sony and Chevron-Texaco.  HSE provides administration support and programme development and delivery.

As part of their continuous improvement programmes members are supporting the aims of Welsh Assembly Government programmes such as Health Challenge Wales, the Corporate Health Standard initiatives and the Welsh Backs campaign.

If you want to become part of this improvement programme or just see what you can access please Join the Forum.  There's no fee or obligation, Forum organised events are also free. Please note that any information relating to individual companies will not be used by HSE in any enforcement context.
